Costa Brava

The Costa Brava is part of the greater Empordà region in Catalonia, Northeastern Spain. Internationally considered one of the most beautiful regions of Spain, the coastline offers not only spectacular views but idyllic towns such as Cadaqués or Calella de Palafrugell, secluded bays and crystilline waters. A host of watersports can be enjoyed along the Costa Brava with special spots for scubadiving and sailing.

Inland you can discover the rich Empordà countryside which produces it´s own wine as well as medieval towns such as Pals or Peratllada. Begur is another of its famous towns which offers a weekly market on it´s cobblestoned streets or where you can enjoy the views from one of its´many town plazas (squares).

The Costa Brava weather is ideal for year round visits, enjoying mild winters and long hot summers ideal for beach holidays.

The Hotel Costa Brava in Platja d'Aro dating back to 1929, is situated right on the coastline and enjoys some of the most amazing sea views given that it´s built on the sea front.  It´s the ideal location for a romantic getaway, a spring break or indeed a beach holiday during the summer.

The Costa Brava was awarded the "The Top Travel Destination Award" by National Geographic in 2012. For more information on holidays in the Costa Brava take a look at our hotel deals
